\u00bfWho is Sebasti\u00e1n Florez?<\/strong><\/p>

Sebasti\u00e1n Florez<\/a> is Colombian, graduated in business administration from the Universidad de los Andes and passionate about marketing. With more than 6 years of experience in this area, he experienced firsthand two highly significant changes in this field. First of all, the digitlazation of marketing and second marketing went from portfolio driven to the creativity on how to create relations and valuable content.<\/p>

<\/p>

His experience and history with Calypso<\/strong>
His career began at Abbott, one of the biggest pharmaceutical laboratories in the world, present in more than 160 countries. There, Sebas was part of the marketing team in the Cardiopharm division, an area in charge of developing products to treat heart diseases. Couple years after he met a person who would change his professional life, Elmer Botia Londo\u00f1o, owner and president of Calypso del Caribe. <\/p>

Furthermore they are current Imagine Apps client, with whom Sebas worked for five years as Director of Marketing and had the challenge of expanding the business in all the regions of Colombia. Today, Calypso has 5 production plants and various distribution centers and covers nearly 85% of the Colombian territory, becoming a national benchmark in the food service. and they are changing theri mindset to a digital driven company.<\/p>

During his time at Calypso, Sebas met Imagine Apps, a company that became his strategic tech partner to develop the company\u2019s digital channels. In this process, the Calypso app was created, a project that has been in operation for 3 years and has shown constant growth month after month. This app has sales of more than 1 million dollars per year, has achieved more than 100,000 downloads and is present in 10 cities in Colombia.

From customer to Imaginer<\/strong><\/p>

His Calypso story took a break when he decided to move to Toronto. But, at the same time, he saw an opportunity to work with Imagine Apps, facing a new challenge for the compay and for him, establish Imagine Apps in North America, a new market for the company.
As Sebastian Says \u201cthe opportunities that Imagine Apps has in the North American are incalculable, due to the rapid growth and traction that we are living, our good financial health and the highly qualified talent throughout Latin America that we have\u201d<\/p>
